Canada West Quarter-final Game 2
The Huskies look to defend back-to-back titles from 2015-16 and 2016-17. The Wesmen defeated UNBC 82-65 in the Canada West Play-In.
The Huskies are 2-2 all-time in the playoffs against Winnipeg, the last meeting being in the 2014-15 quarter-finals where they swept the Wesmen (71-47, 73-57).
The winner of this series will play the winner of Trinity Western (3rd)-Alberta (6th) in the semifinals, where the highest remaining seed will host.
On Winnipeg's side, feature players Antoinette Miller (1st) and Faith Hezekiah (3rd) have been workhorses for the Wesmen, averaging 36.2 and 34.1 minutes per game respectively.

Scouting The Winnipeg Wesmen
The Wesmen have been one of the hottest teams in the conference since losing four-straight in early November. Since that losing streak, they finished the year 12-2 tear - losing to the first place Regina Cougars.
Fifth-year guard Antoinette Miller has three of the top five scoring performances this year. 43 points vs. Alberta (11/04/17), 40 vs. Manitoba (01/19/18) & 36 vs. Mount Royal (10/28/17). She also has six games attempting 25 shots or more – no other player in the conference has more than two such games. Miller finished the regular season with 25.9 points per game on 36.3 minutes per game – both conference highs.
