Forsberg Lifts Men's Hockey In OT

Jesse Forsberg tallied two goals included the overtime winner to lead the No. 3 ranked University of Saskatchewan Huskies 3-2 over the visiting University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Friday night in Saskatoon's Rutherford Rink.

Forsberg netted the winner 3:31 into the five-minute overtime frame after keeping the puck in at the blue line. His quick shot slipped through the glove side of Pronghorns' goalie Garret Hughson.

Valentino tallied his second of the night to give the Pronghorns a 2-1 lead at 13:53 when he was left alone at the side of the net once again. Forsberg notched the game at two at 11:55 in the third period on a quick shot from the slot.

Cooke finished the night making 33 saves including 16 in the first period, while Hughson stopped 30 at the other end of the ice.
