The University of Saskatchewan Huskies will host the 18th annual Graham Construction Shootout October 20-22 at the Physical Activity Complex.
The Algoma University Thunderbirds (OUA), the Red Deer College Kings (ACAC) and the University of Calgary Dinos will all participate in this year's tournament.
Saskatchewan has enjoyed success as hosts in recent years. The Huskies have taken the tournament title for six of the past seven seasons and have won eight times since the inaugural event in 1999.
The Calgary Dinos are no strangers to the Graham Shootout. They will be making their 6th appearance at the Shootout and bring an overall tournament record of 9-6 and two Shootout titles with them. Calgary won the 2015-16 Canada West Championship and earned a silver medal at the CIS Final 8.
The Algoma Thunderbirds (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) are making their first ever appearance at the Shootout. The T-Birds will be looking to strongly represent the OUA and make a great first impression in Saskatoon under 11th year head coach Thomas Cory.
The Kings will be making their debut at this year's Graham Shootout. Red Deer has been one of the top teams in the college ranks under head coach Clayton Pottinger.
Saskatchewan is 4-0 in non-conference play to open the season.
