Scouting The Thunderbirds

  • The UBC Thunderbirds suffered their second loss of the season losing 31-17 to the Calgary Dinos in Vancouver on September 29.

  • The 'Birds held a 10-9 lead at the half while both teams played a stellar game on defence to that point, but a three touchdown, 21-point third quarter put the game away.

  • The Thunderbirds opened the season with a 36-20 loss to the Regina Rams, followed by a 32-18 win over the Manitoba Bisons. The other UBC wins came 31-10 over the Huskies and 41-21 over the Golden Bears.

  • UBC is ranked No. 7 in U SPORTS.
